Impressive Performance by Purba Bakalia City Corporation High School in SSC 2025

Purba Bakalia City Corporation High School has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2025, under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chattogram.

Out of 117 registered candidates, 93 students passed, resulting in a commendable pass rate of 79.49%. The institution’s academic strength was further highlighted by the performance of its top achievers—15 students secured GPA 5.00, the highest attainable grade point.

Science Group Leads with Outstanding Results

The Science group produced a number of high-performing students, with multiple candidates achieving GPA 5.00. Several examinees scored straight A+ grades across all subjects, showcasing their command over both theoretical and practical knowledge. Roll numbers such as 102137, 102140, 102142, 102146, 102147, 102148, 102151, 102152, 102154, 102155, 102158, 102162, and 102163 were among those who achieved GPA 5.00—demonstrating consistent academic brilliance.

Subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and ICT saw high scores, indicating the school’s strong emphasis on core STEM education.

Business Studies Group Holds Ground

Students from the Business Studies group also made notable strides. Despite facing greater academic diversity and challenges, many examinees secured GPAs above 4.00, with one standout candidate (Roll: 504585) achieving a perfect GPA 5.00.

A significant number of students scored A or A+ in subjects like Accounting, Finance & Banking, Business Entrepreneurship, and General Mathematics, reflecting a growing competence in commerce-related subjects.

Room for Improvement

Despite the overall success, 24 students were unsuccessful in clearing the examination, with failures marked as F1, F2, or F3—indicating subject-specific deficiencies. This highlights the need for targeted academic interventions and remedial efforts to ensure improved performance in future sessions.

Institutional Commitment

The school administration, led by Acting Head Teacher Nasima Yasmin, attributed the success to the combined efforts of students, teachers, and guardians. She emphasized the importance of regular classes, dedicated faculty, and continuous assessments. Integration of digital tools for attendance, exam tracking, and communication has also played a vital role in streamlining academic operations and keeping parents informed.

“This year’s SSC results reflect not just the potential of our students but also the effectiveness of our teaching methods and support systems,” said Ms. Yasmin.

Looking Ahead

With continued dedication, strategic teaching, and digital transformation, Purba Baklia City Corporation High School aims to further enhance academic outcomes and ensure that every student reaches their full potential.
